This is a Victorian double sided photo locket. It is made from 9ct yellow gold front and back, with each side featuring a design in the "day and night" style of the period. It has an unusal deep blue enamelled buckle design with an engraved border on one side, with the reverse beautifully engraved all over in a scrolled filigree design. There is some age appropriate wear to the enamel, expectyed in a piece of this age.
