Georgian Carved Coral Earrings

These carved Mediteranian coral earrings are a Georgian work of art. The skillfully carved pendulum drops detatch from the collet set coral roses, transforming them into a shorter pair of earrings. This is a wonderful example of the thoughtful and versatile design typical of the Georgian period, when a lady might own just a few pieces of jewellery which could be altered to suit different occasions. Approaching 200 years of age, these earrings are in fantastic condition and would make very special addition to your jewellery collection. Georgian earrings of this calibre are a rare find indeed.
