This is a beautifully simple 18ct yellow gold locket dating back to the early 1900s. It features two bright red rubies and one diamond set into the face of the locket like small berries hanging down from an applied leaf design. There is an uncluttered and striking embossed border surround with a sumptuous bloomed (matte) finish - what a lovely piece from the Victorian Aesthetic Movement.
