This Victorian 18ct yellow gold locket is set with three beautiful rose cut, claw set diamonds  (1 oval and 2 round). It features a scalloped design with applied fine detail in a bloomed (matte) finish and a scalloped shiny gold border for contrast. The reverse of the locket is plain with a bloomed finish. The truly wonderful feature of this locket though, is the photograph it contains of the original owner, wearing her treasured locket on a chain. This beautiful piece really is a window into the past - what a special find.
