This is a lovely, little 15ct yellow gold wax seal from the Georgian period. It features softly coloured yellow gold heavily embossed with intrigate detail. The base is set with a lovely reddish orange Carnelian stone, which has not been engraved. This gorgeous little tool is a wonderful piece of history, it would have been used originally to stamp the wax seal on hand written letters.
