22ct Gold MIZPAH Ring C.1890

This is a beautiful 22ct yellow gold MIZPAH ring from the late 1800's. MIZPAH is a Hebrew word from the bible literally meaning "watchtower". It was very symbolic in jewellery of the Victorian era often given when loved ones were seperated: "May the Lord watch between thee and me when we are apart one from the other". A lovely sentiment and a beautiful old ring, has been loved but still in great condition.

Circa: 1890
